vehicle explorer softwere scorpio

hubby knows some one with a obd2 reader but to do our car he said he would need vehicle explorer softwere for the scorpio he have a obd2 for his subaru but dont have the ford softwere where could i get this from ?

not quite as easy as that. 
does it connect to pwm? what make of lead is it?
the VE software from alex pepper only works with his leads, afaik.

ammmmmmmm lol im not sure but ill get kev to ask him next week but he did say somthing about he would also need a unlocking code as well as soft ware ,
oh i hope some way it could work  dont want to take it to any more garages at all lol
ill get back to you when i find out what lead he have he just called it a obd2 and he do it with a lap top .........
