it should work ok
 
with PWM standard you connect to the PCM (powertrain control module - or EEC-V) and with the ISO standard you can read the ABS error codes (if anny)

Yes it  is such thing, but it  cannot detect obd in my scorpio Undecided I tried it on Toyota  and it  work ok Undecided

Does the elmscan5 have any jumper settings.

the pins in the plug are ok such as on EEC V.
I shall try to change  jumper settings on the elmscan5 Huh
