Laptop advice needed

Thinking that I might get into the technological age & get rid if the 'suck it & see' approach to car repair.

I've got an Autel code reader, but it's pretty basic.

Seen a laptop in the local paper for sale....HP Omnibook XE2 with Windows '98 & 192 mb RAM.....cheap as chips  Wink

Would this be okay for the diagnostic software & OBD II lead that the Scorp requires ?

I also have an old laptop, good thing about old ones is that the majority are made to work with a 18 V adapter but do work fine on 12 V from the battery   Grin
