Hi Dave. It's built around the ELM327 chip, you can buy the chips alone for about £20 AFAIK. Add in bulk purchase of chips and 'Made in China', go figure how cheap they can be But if it's anything like my Elmscan the interface works well, tried mine on a few Jags, 2 Scorps and a couple of other makes, no problems. | This and some of the other software in that list is NOT free software, ScanMaster is a d**n good program but I paid £80 for it alone...some of the other software there is pricey. Either someone's telling porkies or you get a lot of pirated software in there, if you're honestly getting all that software for £20, I'd jump in quick Regards, Bruce.
