have a obd2 lead and sofware and i cant scan the car as it says scanning all interfaces and then freezes any idea car is a r reg 2.3

What version of the software are you using? Ver 1.55 doesn’t work properly. I use ver 1.51 you can get it here: http://www.obd-2.com/ Add ve151all to the above link and you'll start the download
