hi  there

this is what i've got....
http://www.talktomycar.co.uk/products/codereaders/MaxiScanMS509.htm

but if i was buying again, i'd but this one...
http://www.talktomycar.co.uk/products/advcode/MaxiDiagUS703.htm

i should say that i had an issue connecting to 24v cars at the harewood house show, but it was ok with 16v cars. didn't have time to look into it more. Undecided

hope this helps a bit.

btw, i did look at the argos one, but it didn't look like it could do 'live' data.

Hello Simmo. I did read that but i was wondering if they were being carefull saying that cars from 2001 had a diagnostic socket but not all cars before 2001 had. So people didn't buy it thinking it would do diagnostics when there car didn't have the socket. If you see what i mean........... Huh

Tony.
I think that EEC V modules are compatible with the Argos scanner, the blurb on Scorpioman's is similar.Presumably all OBD 2 systems with 16 pin socket would  communicate with the Argos instrument.I do not of course know this, but logic would make it so.
