Im obtaining an old lappy with the aim of building a cheap diagnostic rig, but im also considering using Ubuntu or some other form of linux as the O/S due to the lowly nature of the laptops components and specs. Are OBD / OBDII software applications exclusively windows based or are there any good linux setups anyone can reccomend ? Thanks
