It’s difficult to see what’s happening on the screen grabs, you could try changing to white background & a thicker line (buttons bottom right next to the zoom buttons). Have a read here & check the oxygen sensor voltages and switching are within limits. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/ho2smonitor.htm It’s always possible the underlying fault lies elsewhere, does the engine have any issues?

Thanks Dave,, Will alter the background settings. Having just read the H02S monitor page. I need to rescan when these conditions are met: Monitor Conditions: Before the HO2S Monitor can run the following conditions must be met: Short Term Fuel Trim (RTFT) is +/- 30% ECT shows 150° F (65.5° C) and 240° F (115.5° C) IAT is less than 140° F (60° C) Engine load is between 20 and 50% Vehicle speed between 30 mph and 65 mph Engine RPM between 1000 and 2200 rpm Minimum time of 10 seconds in Closed Loop operation The engine does occasionally lack throttle response on cold start and heavier fuel consumption. I initially suspected oxygen sensors.Hence, the scan. Thanks Adam

I think what that’s saying is that the engine management won’t start monitoring until those conditions are met. It doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t get meaningful data outside those conditions or that it’s not using the data. Presumably it doesn’t tweak things like fuel trim until those conditions are met. I assume some codes like the ones you’ve cleared may not be generated until those conditions are met. Dave
