Hi have just come back from kent, been seeing my kids and was wondering what you lot out there get from your Scorpios..
Mine is a12v ,and from door step to door step doing no more then about 85 mph were i can and not using kickdown getting about 25.9 mpg, and round town driving carefully about 21 mpg .
My question is . Is this about right or do people get more, because people alway tell you ther car is doing more than that ,, so honest answers please

I get 26 - 28 on a run and about 18 - 19 round town. I do a lot more round town stuff these days though so usually put about £47.00 a week into the car

Hi  ,
I have a 2L, and I reckon I only get 23mpg  average so if you're getting around this, you're doing pretty well I think  .
My driving is mainly townish and often if I do a long run my computer tells me I have further to go on the fuel I have left than I had when I started my journey ! I like this .

Well, another 24V here and I get about the same as Baz. That's a realistic figure I think.
Your figure is about right maybe. It should've been a bit better if you had cruise engaged and had few interuptions. Remember, on & off the gas knoocks the figure down a fair bit.
Where abouts in Kent were you?

I'm from Ramsgate kids still live there, met my present partner on the internet and moved up to cambridgeshire ..
