Most noble of you to allow vital parts of your loved one to  be  used  so  that  other  Scorpios  may  live.

How   much  did   the scrappy give  you    for the  old  b****r!

The scrappy saved me £80 fine for no tax as of today as I have no off road parking and I'm going back for some parts i've listed for him (fuse boxes, relays), not that I need any parts right now but.......................

HI Cheesy,
This is the list of repairs that would have been needed to keep her alive Shocked (and all this has failed since i got "new" Scorp Huh).

:- Roll Eyes
Steering rack.
Gear box (auto)
Front wishbone bushes
Front link arms (wich I bought, now ready for new one)
New cat
Down pipes starting to blow
Discs and pads.
Set of tyres.

I would think this is by no means a comprehensive fault list, only what I was aware of........ engine still purred but throttle linkage siezed solid 3 days ago Undecided. I'd been starting her every other day in some vain hope........

I only used this car for 1 year, it had NO history from 90.000 to when i got it at 132.000. It had 170.000 at the end.

Ouch.

The scorpio does command a better price as a whole car to a breaker especially if the headlights, remote etc.etc. is in place as they bring top dollar. Would have been best to break it yourself if you had room.
