Cardok Underground Storage

A few months ago Ben and I saw a pair of these infront of two newly developed properties just out of town.. we guessed it was some sort of underground parking and we got pretty excited. Then we get a pamflet through the door just now, with a website address;
  www.cardok.co.uk

It's good stuff! I really want to know how much they cost. I really don't have a clue.. but must be somewhere between £2500 and £5000, or maybe more.

Someone get one installed!

Nice....but when you watch the animations on the website, the one they are using to demo the product is set in a plot of land big enough to park three airliners let alone two cars. They should have put one behind a small terraced house in Chelsea so you could really see the effect

I am currently in consultation with the company concerned as regards having one fitted in my lounge, I can then park my car safely at night and still have room to view the tv from the sofa without my vision being obscured by my Scorpio. Of course I will require extra wide patio doors at the front of my house in place of the existing windows but this is a minor issue I think you'll agree.

Twenty-five thousand pounds!!!! For what is basically a container crate.

Good God. You could buy ten incredibly nice scorpios for that money.

In fact, you could get two or three container crates and an industrial crane, and stack cars on top of eachother for much less.

Phew wee.

Yep 25 thou then they add VAT which comes to 29375 then they charge you for installation ... which if you think about the hire of the overhead Crane to lift it in, the team of guys (3 days manpower) and the JCB to dig the hole, plus materials ie concrete etc, I reckon you won't see the short end of 40 grand to have it put in.

True. That's just ridiculous! They say have it installed to cut costs of parking fees and such. Forty grand in parking fees... that's like.. a hundred years or something.

Oh well. If I had a ridiculous amount of money.. i'd consider. But then, if I had that much money i'd have a house with lots of land. TShh.
