Shocked

Absolutely.........We stayed there with my business partner and his wife a few years ago. Far too posh. There was even a guy in the toilets who ran the taps for you to wash your hands after you had a wee!!

Dinner came to £295.00 for the 4 of us and that was only in the grill and not the realyy fancy restaraunt!!

Great Pic though, when was it taken?

The Savoy Grill is the posh one Baz.

As you say, its a lot of money, but it is nice. Our dinner for 2 in the Grill came out at £163  Shocked

Anyway, the photo was taken at around 3pm on Sunday when I arrived with my best man and ushers (they're in the background).
Didn't really have time to be doing this because the wedding started at 4:30   Still, I couldn't waste the opportunity  Wink

Ribbons were applied only when we got nearby (didn't want them to stretch en-route). So we stopped near the Houses of Parliament. The whole area was crawling with police, but it was there or not at all. Mind you, I did ask if they minded first. They said "Of course not, pull up just in front of our van and do it there".  Two of them actually came over and watched & talked to us as we did. And these were both armed with machine gun type weapons. I thought it was pretty cool and asked for a photo with them.  They declined  Sad

Cheers Paul.  I'd polished it specially for the occasion.

And you're right about the kebab shop! After dining there (combined with nerves) I was dancing the sour apple quickstep for a day or so!  Shocked

But I didn't realise it was you either. Gimme a nod next time  Smiley
