Any advance? 99.9 a litre! Bakewell rd Darley Dale Matlock! First one to see an actual 1.00 per litre sign post here! Has anyone noticed that forcourt signage only has 3 digits!? So, 89.9 fits, 96.9 fits, but 100.9 doesnt! What is to be done? £1.45.9 ?

they'll do away with the decimal point. Ive never really seen the point of it anyway, why dont they just round it down (or more likely up) to the nearest penny. (or pound ) I have heard of petrol over £1 a litre in the North of Scotland but not seen it round here yet

I've noticed that our local Sainsburys has just replaced its forecourt sign for one with space for 4 digits....therefore 100.9 can't be far away... At the moment though they're charging 'only' 90.9 for unleaded!!! Remember the fuel blockades a few years back??.......that was when fuel was just reaching 85p/litre!...amazing what you get used to paying isn't it?

well, i have been sent an email that, in my opinion, is a far more effective way of making a point than the "boycott" i am happy to pass on personally (p.m) but not in forums. i guess its called spam, but would help all in the long run. basically:- boycott the big two companies (eXXo and PB) lol. these companies are actually one and the same. and being the biggest, they kinda control the price. use any others. if you had this email, and passed it on X10, and they did X10, eventually the big two (one) would see a massive sales drop, and they, having more control than the others, would actully fight on our side, to get the price lowered from source. if any one wants to see this email, please p.m me. russ.

I saw that one a while ago but it didnt come to anything. It would certainly work and in a very short space of time too. Maybe the next time the public decide prices are too high it might come to something, sounds like a plan

| That's probably why my local (Beckenham, Kent) took their prices down 2 days ago and haven't replaced them. I bet Gordon Brown is happy

my petrol cost 94.9 plus 7p extra because I use the B.P. Ultima petrol. so thats is £1.01 per lt. but it might have gone up further since last week. I wonder if there is going to be any fuel shortage. Still I won't have to worry to much, I am tanked up. must have over 80 gallons, just in case I need to use some.
