I have never heard of a TT kit fitted to a 95+ Scorpio before, could be a first Smiley

Will make a big difference, it will use alot more fuel thow Sad

What kit is it, should be F something?

I have had loads of TT cars, currently I have a Minker 323 which is no. 9 of 9 made.
That's a Sierra XR4X4 2.9 12V twin turbo.
It can do 0-60 in 4.1 secs & mine is modded still further to make 350 bhp. It is rather quick Grin

i had a TT 4x4 scorpio back in 1995 (it was a 1989 model),boy that car was fun and quick,so yes i for 1 would recommend it,BUT am not sure about "retro fitting" the kit to the later scorpio,is it the whole engine etc. or just the conversion kit ?

if its off a capri mate it won't fit. thats a 2.8 motor so the turbo kit won't fit your heads. Undecided

Hmm as said the Capri had a 2.8 engine. The 2.8 kit will not fit a 2.9 engine as they are very different.

If you got hold of a 2.9 12V kit it woould fit a 95+ Scorpio as that particular car is basically the same as a Mk3 engine & E.C.U wise. Only problem I can see is you would have to make the exhaust system fit to the turbo's as that area is slightly different.
Shame as it would be good to see a TT Scorpio 12V Grin

I have only heard bad things about them electric superchargers  Wink

If your looking for real power then fit a TT kit, they can be had for around £500 & will give you upto about 240 bhp @ about 8 psi. Torque is fantastic on a blown engine.
If you want more then things get really expensive.

Kit is all bolt on stuff, only real probs is you have to put 2 holes in the sump for the turbo oil returns & as I said the exhaust will need some work to mate up.
Goodluck.
