Have to say i was quite impressed with the way the Merc i drive for work held up against a 50mph impact into the side of a BMW. I was following a D reg Escort Cabriolet along an A road November last year on a damp evening and after going around a sweeping left hander the Escort started losing it, fish tailed up the (now straight) road for a few yards and side swiped the BMW coming towards us, sending it broadside in the middle of the road in front of me (ooops BANG!!!!) The Escort ended up on its roof down the road, but thankfully we all got out of it ok though a bit shook up. All 3 cars written off but as you can see from the couple of not very good pictures, mine did exactly what is says on the tin regards Paul

Yep, all the front lights stayed intact as they are not glass lenses on these, and they stayed working too, strange but true lol
