It is a 1998 facelift 2.3 Ghia X in State Blue. Bought on EBay for the massive sum of £175.00!! Full leather with the elusive centre rear headrest and inertia centre seatbelt I have got it back to my mates breakers yard where it is sat awaiting dismantling with the parts heading back to EBay. All monies for this years south of France holiday fund or the LPG conversion fund. Watch my EBay auctions soon!! Engine turns over but possible cam chain damage. or maybe head gasket. Power steering reservoir is empty too

Baz How do you it mate, spent several weeks now looking for a scorp for my sister with only rubbish out there in her price range with all looking like they have seen some action in a demolition derby and you find a nice looker for peanuts, forgetting of course the engine for the moment Anyhow, may I ask if I might give a shout for the rear lamps as what ever she ends up with will require facelifting. PLEASE Mike

Mike, it is not in too bad a condition. There are a few rust patches here and there and a bit of sill damage where some numpty tried to jack it up in the wrong place!! the leather is OK and it has a full set of rubber overmats which I have been looking for for ages to save the carpets when I get in with my work boots on!! I ummed and arred a bit before buying but as it was only in Stockport (about 25 miles from me) I did a buy it now!! went for it yesterday after borrowing my mates tow truck (have you ever picked up an automatic and towed it backwards on your own!!??) it is now in a roped off area of my mates scrap yard until I decide what to do with it. I also have a little transit van next to it where all the bits will go!! (He is a good mate!!) I am looking to see if I can get it started next week as it is still taxed and could be run for a few weeks!! If it doesn't start, the "Holiday in the south of France fund" kicks in and all bits go on EBay!!
