Fob - Audio/Visual Alert

Can anyone post the procedure (if available) for setting the remote locking so it flashes the indicators etc when locking the car using the fob.
my '95 Ultima does not have this activated but the '98 I have just got flashes the indicators when locking.
Isn't it a bind when you have to stand next to the car to make sure it is locked, and especially awkward in a noisy street. I may as well use the key sometimes.

The proceedure has to be done by Ford using the FDS 2000 or you could fit a mod as made by some members on here (or probably ex-members now I imagine)

i am led to believe that the mod is no more barry (lucky us eh  ),steve collister has sold his scorpio,and no more are being made unfortunately,so as baz quite rightly states,it's a job for ford using the FDS 2000...

Had it done to mine at local Ford dealer, £75 IIRC (standard charge for connecting to their computer). Chap said the fob setting needed changing to GB from Euro, or the other way round, or something.......
Now it flashes once on unlock, once on open boot, once on lock, twice on double lock (with remote). Now also flashes on double lock with key.
