Wife trouble
« on: Apr 20th, 2006, 3:27pm »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

I have got trouble with my wife she wants me to get rid of my Scorpio because it's costing too much.  I was just about to put my car in and do the rust spots around the rear number plate and on the nearside rear wheel arch.  But it developed a water leak on the thermostat housing so I have had to have a new inlet manifold fitted.  So paint job will have to wait.  I think I need a garage to hide my car in.Or perhaps put the wife in the garage.  Smiley

Maybe  it's    this site to blame with its  tales of  leak , failures, breakdowns and other  woes  and   calamities,    but unlike every other car I've owned    I  get  a  feeling  of  doom  and apprehension that  when  it  does  breakdown   or  start  giving  real  trouble  that  I will   ( because of its complexity )  be powerless to  fix  it.  Embarassed

That’s the same feeling when she mentions getting rid of my scorpio. My wife reckons I'm building a new car a bit at a time.  I have just had a look at my invoices since December and it comes to £1120 she could be right. Smiley

Im coming up to that figure as well mate from december also. Since I got mine then, I have one scorp and half a girlfriend. Wouldnt mind so much if it were the lower fun half, but no, I am stuck with moaning upper half female doging about not seeing most of the time as I am working on that 'F+++++g car'

Maybe we should have a theme song for the site,

Johnny Cash - One piece at a time

If that was was the right title of it, but reckon you'll know which song I mean.

Oh yeah, I've just become a junior. Lonnnnnnng time since I've been a junior anything
