Heavy Metal...fitting for the Scorpio I think.
A bit of Judas Priest makes my Scorpio run better!!
Jethro Tull gives me more mpg & Metallica makes the car go faster!!

Bit of Ice Cube when rolling thu the hood but this causes problems with the electrics as all the windows seem to open automaticly by themselves and all the speed bumbs make you feel like you are in a jacked low rider. I have also found that I get a lower MPG with metalica, perhaps it should be added to the fault finder page Wink. Bit of Jane's Addiction drowns out my squeeling brakes but a bit of Slayer drowns out everything and I have to look at the rev counter to see if the car still works.....

'fraid  I'm   stuck  in  the     60's/70's    when   it  comes  to  music.   AC/DC,  CCR,
The Who,  Johnny Winter, The Doors,  Jefferson Airplane,  Canned Heat, Etc.

Oh ....and   Abba   and  The Carpenters , but don't tell anyone  or my   "Rawk"   credibility  will  be ruined Undecided

God, I turning into me dad, even started listening to Ozzy which I never really did in the past (even tho I went to see him when I was 10)

I've just bought a 600W amp to drive my 2 x 12" speakers!!!! I think I might use Testament - Practice what you Preach to test it with (good choice Baw_Flinger).

I didn't realise that this was a rockers site as well as a Scorpio site. That definately makes it the the best Rockers/Car site on the net.
Anyone here ever play in a band?
I played guitar in a London band called Treason in the early 90's. Was anyone else here famous for five minutes?

Played guitar in a thrash/punk band called Abductor in the late 80's/ early 90's, but dont go looking in any shops for a CD Wink Most of the songs lasted about 20 secs and the longest one we did was about 1 1/2 mins. Had quite a few fans in Poland for some reason Shocked. Good crack when your 16...........
And later on, I DJ'ed loads of Rock joints about Glasgow for years until I retired at the ripe old age of 26. Now my scorp is my decks and the streets are my gig Wink Roll Eyes ROFL ROFL ROFL

Played the Glasgow Rooftops in 1990 (supported Slammer). Is it still there Baw ?
Biggest claim to fame was supporting Warrior Soul at the Marquee, the night before they supported Metallica at Wembley in late 1990 (think that was the year). All the members of Metallica were there & after the gig Lars Ulrich shook my hand & said "cool man".

Slammer ROFL God, that brings back memories. I moved down south about 6 years ago so I dont know if its still on the go I'm afraid. Saw loads of bands there, one of the most memorable times was at an Exodus gig when my mate tryed to slam off the top of the PA rig and got a complete kickin of the bouncers. Good Metalica story. The only one I have is going backstage on the Justice for all tour at the Edinburgh play house and found them all out of their faces on heroin or coke, that was a bit hero destroying EmbarassedWarrior Soul played a gig in glasgow on that tour at a place called King Tuts and the floor collapsed! The gig tryed to cram in 200 more folk than it could hold and the floor that had been raised just gave in, which was fun Shocked. Ahhh, momories...
