PS: for a 6 mile trip around town it can sometimes take more that 1 hour to reach destination (this is in the happy cases  Grin)

That is HORRENDOUS.

Makes me feel so lucky!  I start work at 6am, and there is NIL traffic on the road at that time.
Leave home at 5.35, and after a nice leisurely drive across Torbay, roll into the firms car park at around 5.50.  Total fuel for for my weekly journeys to work and back is about  twelve quid.

To be honest, if it was that bad here, I'd keep the Scorp just for my leiasure time, and buy a small motorcycle just for commuting.

I couldn't be arsed fighting my way through that lot every day.

I'd have a BIG one, but I don't know if Octavian has a bike licence.
My riding days are (unfortunately) over, but last bike I had was a Suzuki 900 RF.
Now THAT ate up the miles!!  Cool

It wouldn't be to hard to get a bike licence, but a real bike usualy costs as much as two scorpios ......meaning a cheap one would be over 10.000 euros. Which would be way over my budget, especialy now that i quit my job  Tongue, and a little tiny scooter (under 50 cc) has a price about 2.000 euros.

PS: price was about 40.000 euros  Tongue

I once saw a norton feather bed with a rover v8 engine in it.
The guy had ridden it to the glowing lamb bike rally near kendal in the lake district.
When I got to talk to him he was on intravenus coffee and chain smoking Shocked
