Just woundering if either of you two gentlemen have heard anything yet about the availabilty of the "new" (LOL) software please.

as of yet,no.... 
as you know i have sold my unit,but navteq still have all my details registered with them,and still send me emails...
unfortunately not any with news of the software updates,but as soon as they let me know,i will post the details for you..
