Saw it earlier and wouldn't mind having the wheels(My 12 spokes are a bit battered) and steering wheel, think i'd rather have my leather armchairs though. Not an ultima spec either, but bodywork looks V.good.

Item No. 220024952589 is pretty good too, low mileage, although being a Ghia it doesn't have all the toys, plus it's a manual .

Well, nice but a few things I noticed... The dash shot is with the ignition switched on but no range showing on the computer and the fuel gauge is on empty. Faulty computer. Was Climate control an option on the 24v Exec?. It looks nice but unnaturally clean (over valeted) for a 77k mile car and there are some places where the paint doesn't quite match, not that a respray is a crime though. Good looking car though, wouldn't mind the steering wheel either . Regards, Bruce.

It's still on auction, maybe it's been re-listed, and it's got bidders now. Nice Car, somebody will get a nice drive there.

i dont like the steering wheel, to me it looks half finished. why change excellent comfy leather seats for crackerjack ones that might as well be in burberry check, smells a bit of boy racer ownership. says he's chasing the service history, which generally means there isnt one, what mileage do belts, chains need changing in a cossie? tidy bodywork though.....

A very well presented ebay ad. Obviously somebody ticked a lot of options to add to the base model including the interesting Recaro interior but for a continent gobbling cruiser it misses the cruise control And a sunroof would be nice

It's not an Exec, it's a Ghia. That's what it says on the rear doors

Nice one Jonny well spotted! I just read the Exec description on the ad header. You would have thought that the seller would have made something of the Ghia badges

ones a 2.3 estate and of corse ones a cossie saloon, and even more shocking then having 2 is that both are runners but there is something about these cars that grow on you, not figured out what it is yet (although the cossies low rev gurgle and high rev roar is something quite special) matt

| Thought the same too, something about that car bothers me. So many options for a Ghia, surely the Ultima wasn't that much more once you paid for options like the 12 spokes and the climate control? Someone's had a tyre shine orgy on the engine/trim too, just try and remove all the dirt that sticks to it after 1000 miles . I still have the original Sep 1996 price/options list with my car. It was registered just a week after that one so the options should be the same. The Recaro pack also added the 12 spokes and front fogs, no fogs on the pics though. The RDS6000 was an option too but no mention in the pricelist of the option of climate control on the Ghia. The steering wheel has faded badly, would've matched the dash in 1996, the one good thing about having fake walnut, it looks like new a decade on . And no Matt, I never looked at my own car this close, a drive down the A120 and a quick peek under the bonnet and it was mine, never thought about thumping gearbox syndrome or binding brake syndrome until they started rearing their ugly heads the next day . I'm all confused now. Regards, Bruce .
