Then you need some help to understand "The Lingo"
 
Air                     The wife ..as in "air at um"  
Ar*e Cream      Frozen confectionery (as in choc ice)  
Bison        Basin. A kitchen utensil..as in "puddin bison"  
Boyk       Two-wheeled vehicle. (bicycle) or a lady of ill repute  
Bronical       Chest trouble  
Cannabea        Can of beer  
Cannalarga      Can of lager  
Fake       Cigarette (Got era fake?)  
Flower         Floor as in " Moind me clin flower"  
Foyer      Flames etc  
Foyered       To lose ones job as in "the gaffer foyered me"  
Freud      Cooked in a pan of oil (as in "freud sossy-jizz")  
Gloss      Transparent material used for windows.  
Horse Pickle      Hospital  
Injin        Found under the bonnet (hood) of a car  
Kipper Tie         Cup of Tea  
Loin        Shortest distance between two points  
Loiter      Smoker's accessory  
Lung       Not short  
Pays       Poise Made of pastry..as in "stoik 'n keednoy poise      Peas - as in "" Kinnoy av a cartin 'o mushy pays, ploise?"  
Toy         Fashion accessory usually worn around the neck  
Troin       Form of transport that runs on tracks.  
Windas        Summat Moikrosoft use.  
Yerat      Something you put on Yered.

With my impending move to west midlands this will be invaluable for me, might even print it off and use it as a phrase book when i'm talking to brummies. Can't see that causing any trouble Roll Eyes

used to spend a lot of time in and around the jewellery quarter in birmingham,and personally i love the accent,jasper carrot,now theres one for a start....took me a while to understand anything... Huh
 
i'll try to remember a few when  me and "Mrs always" go to the arena in december to see george michael in concert....
