Pioneer is to replace 7000 in 1999 2.3. were do i start, is there room for aux hidden box behind the dash. They said not do i bypass amp . were do i pick up the hand brake posotive. reversing light ? These are all words that Laurel and Hardy asked me in the shop. Trouble is i dont know ?

There might be room for the aux box somewhere near the steering wheel (below it). If the pioneer headunit is a 1U unit, then there might be room directly below it, as afaik the 7000 is 1.5U or 2U. You will probably need to bypass the amp, unless the pioneer has aux outputs which you can hook up to the original amp (I KNOW I saw a howto on this somewhere). Schematics are probably found somewhere on the site. Re the reverse signal, it should be possible to find where the wires pass the dashboard and tap into them.
