Isn't it  terrible when you've got to buy your own Birthday  present as your own family is too miserable to buy you a measly 2002  4.6lt.  Ford Crown Victoria.

Don't worry the old faithful  Scorp will be my main  workhorse,   the  Vic  is  for  posh and  showing off Kiss

Actually  compared  to a standard Ultima the  specs   are   rather  poor.

No CD player,  no Clim. Con.  ( has  A /C ),  no trip computer, no tacho, no leather, no washer, seat or front screen heaters, no dipping mirror.

So it's  the  basic  model  really.

Great power steering,   goes like a stabbed rat from a standing start.

Erm,     can't get it in me garage, it's  too  long ! Cry

Hey Mr Floppy congratulations with the new purchase. I got to be honest, i never thought you would do it lol. If you want the model woth all the scorpio goodies you need to look out for an LX sport Crown Vic. The CV is a real work horse and that 4.6L is bullet proof. I've seen Crown Victoria's with over 500,000 miles on them with the origional engine and tranny!!!

Body on frame construction, rear wheel drive, and a trunk the size of a cave!!! congratulations buddy Cheesy

Got a couple of oil filters online, £10 each.

Went to a  popular  garage chain   ( 8 Letters: A grand race run at Aintree )   for an oil  change,  they  refused to  fit   products  not   supplied  by them even though they admitted  they were  unable  to  supply an oil filter for the car Huh

I drove 25 miles to another branch of the same company, no problems here ,  they  gladly fitted  my supplied  filter  right away,   5ltrs.  5w-30 plus fitting filter , total   cost  £20.  Kiss

  I'll be going back there.
