Yes...... I have got the system. Not installed it back in though since I changed to the Galaxy screens and DVD stuff. The freeview does work but not at 70 mph on a motorway etc. I was looking at getting a better quality box to see if it works any better.

Why are you thinking of it Mike?

had it for a while, and in my opinion, total "pants",yes the picture quality is quite good,if you are parked up,high on a hill, close to a transmitter,as soon as you start to move off

Yes Baz. I have seen one on ebay, new and reasonably priced thought I might give it ago.

I might possibly stand a better chance I hope Craig as I live in an area that receives good reception with freeview but obviously wouldn't expect it to work in areas such as Snowden.

i hope it works out mike,i live (as the crow flies) 5 miles from the mendip transmitter,by road it's only 8 miles away.... Shocked Shocked
i do honestly think it depends on what sort of equipment you plan on having in the car....
IMHO buy the best you can afford....

Mike,

do a search on "Visteon" there is a seller on there at the moment selling a pair of them. These are probably one of the best you can get and at just over £100.00 they are a bit of a steal. In case you didn't know, Visteon do most of the OEM screens and DVD, HiFi stuff for Ford so a good pedigree!!

Hmmmm..... well judging by the frequency of the updates to the sat nav disks for the VNR..... I'd buy a DVD player!!

Actually chaps already way ahead.
DVD player (with monitor) already installed in a pre-facelift dash (much better now having re-gained the shelf (Granada days)) whilst still using the two headrest monitors, like those Craig had and connected up a source selector to allow multiple choices.

Actually Craig, in order to fit the DVD I have had to lose the VNR which I will shortly have to sell on,  it will no longer fit in the dash.
