Isn't it mild for the time of year...& windy

The apple tree in the back garden has got buds on it 
The daffs are about 6 inches high (a couple more weeks & they'll bloom)
& I 've got a fly buzzing around my front room 
Need to replace a couple of fence panels though 
What's going on with the weather ??

Yes, the hills around Perthshire have a fair covering of snow and the temp was below freezing last night.

That's not really the kind of temperature you would expect in mid January
I spoke to my folks in Spain earlier & it's colder there than it is here
If this carries on, then I can imagine the Scottish holiday brochures next winter......

Bruce...I hope you're not trying to imply that I am a conspiracy theorist ?.....
I remember reading an article, just after the New Orleans disaster, about the huge amounts of money being spent by governments around the world in trying to manipulate the weather.
Maybe someone has sussed it & is doing it right now
