anybody help me here please,have just had to restore our desktop due to "circumstances beyond my control",everything is fine,all running fast again,now heres the dilemma,our laptops have lost the facility to print from the printer connected to the desktop.....
we run a home network through an orange livebox,all internet conections etc. are fine,it's just the ability to print from the 2 laptops,printer is installed on the desktop and works fine,i know it's quite simple as i had to set it up a year or so ago,can i remember can i hell....
anybody help please

Not sure if it will help - but if you right click on the printer from Printers and Faxes in the control menu and select Sharing you can get to the Network Setup Wizard - it may help! Or try the option that says "If you understand........" which will let you share the printer.

all sorted out,messed about with it,set up new conections with a shared printer,dont ask me what i did,but it all works and that suits me fine.....
