Volvo: Dull, ugly, uninspiring...give me the cossie any day Frumpy middle aged Women's Institute member's car (don't take me personally, I just happen to have a grudge against certain Volvo drivers in my area - forgive me lord ) £1100 sounds high to me unless it's A1, best thing is to scout the current market and see what they're fetching - more accurate guide this way. Good luck. Regards, Bruce .

Teen, I know what you mean mate. But remember my Scorp, £850 on eBay...ok, it was only a 2.3 but an Ultima with new autobox, 9 out of 10 cosmetic condition...I think I was lucky to get the £850 to be honest. To get a good price you'll really need to make it look A1 in my opinion - only if it's better than the next Scotpio on eBay would you get bids on there. I loved my car but had to admit that our cars just aren't worth anything anymore as much as we like them....one of the biggest used car bargains around, remember?. Good luck Regards, Bruce.

| a little too optimistic there i think........ no matter how much you have spent on it,sadly at the end of the day it's still a 13 year old car,and the market reflects that...... personally i think the idea of locking it away sounds a good shout,if your not desperate for the money...

I would have the Volvo, then sell it straight away, buy the Scorpio and probably have a few shillings in my pocket from the difference
