i'm looking at selling my scorpio, we need something bigger, so i just wondered what it is worth.
1994 m reg
2.9i v6 24v cosworth estate
grey
new tyres all round
new gearbox
tow bar
it has all the extra's
94,000 miles
i may even leave the blues and two's on it.

ye im looking at the volvo v70 2.5i chipped, remembering from the pic of my cossie i sell the blues and two's, so this would do the part a bit more

£1100 sounds high to me unless it's A1, best thing is to scout the current market and see what they're fetching - more accurate guide this way.

But remember my Scorp, £850 on eBay...ok, it was only a 2.3 but an Ultima with new autobox, 9 out of 10 cosmetic condition...I think I was lucky to get the £850 to be honest. To get a good price you'll really need to make it look A1 in my opinion - only if it's better than the next Scotpio on eBay would you get bids on there. I loved my car but had to admit that our cars just aren't worth anything anymore as much as we like them....one of the biggest used car bargains around, remember?.

i know its a shame, i think i will advertise it privatley and see what interest i get, i might just lock it up in a garage for a few years and forget about it, maybe it will be worth a bit more then, lol
or are they worth more on fire, only jokin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a little too optimistic there i think........
no matter how much you have spent on it,sadly at the end of the day it's still a 13 year old car,and the market reflects that......
personally i think the idea of locking it away sounds a good shout,if your not desperate for the money...
