Anyone having problems with your ABS system, then you mite not want to go to this little item I found on ebay- Ford Scorpio 95 on ABS Controller/Pump/M 95GB2C285AD Item number: 4519905520 Their is an extra £75 surcharge for exchange uint. Not putting the company down or anything like that, but its well out of my price range. PS: - I have one for £50 plus P+P. excellent working order when removed last week

There is an estate in our local scrappie. ABS pump was still on it the other day. When I bought one off him a few months ago, he charged me £15 for the pump/ECU complete. It is near Mansfield, Notts. PS. I only used the ECU. I must still have the pump somewhere. You can have it if I can find it.

Yes , the control unit that bolts on to the ABS pump. But you can do it without disturbing the hydraulic system. If you undo the nuts holding the assembly to the inner wing, there is enough "give" in the pipes to carefully twist the unit round so that you can get at the bolts which hold the ECU on to the pump. Check if the pipes run through any clips near the unit and if so, unclip them first. Note:- The first scan I had done reported a faulty ECU which is why I replaced it. It wasn't - it was nothing more than a bad connection on the plug which plugs the ECU into the pump! Revealed by another scan by a different garage. Good luck.
