Yup, good road atlas is the best form of sat nav if you want to get somewhere but if you drive for a living I guess having a nav is a good idea...if you know how to interpret it . Tali, I'm a bit of a Lidl convert thanks to you. Even got myself a set of miniature double-ended spanners in there the other week, only a couple of quid but really handy and well made...

Another Lidl (and Aldi) fan here, have both locally. Any excuse and will drop in just to browse and see what they've got. Am just looking to replace a set of wiper blades that cost about £3 over 12 months ago - needed a set in a hurry and only expected them to last a couple of months. Seriously tempted by Aldi's compressor and air tools at the moment.

Their stuff is very good. I've found a few people who say otherwise, but for me, they do the business. Got two 'workmates' the other week. They have been put to huge use already, and every bit as good as Black & Decker ones. At £8.00 each you can't go wrong.

I've got one too (cost £70 from Aldi IIRC) - still working fine and is made by a company only a few miles away from me so that's re-assuring. Darren
