How's the parking round your way ? I can feel the daggers of my neighbours eyes boring a hole in my skull just because I have two big cars ( fully legal and roadworthy ) taking up space on the road outside my house. Lord knows how multiple car owner families cope in narrow urban residential streets.

lol, wouldn't leave a car parked on the street here, got the Scorpio vandalised more than once. Not that it's a bad area, it's pretty quiet really but in the summer when the holidaymakers have had a few too many and want a free ride home from the pub, decent motor parked alone on the street at 2am on Sunday is asking for trouble So, it gets parked off road, out of view around the side of the bungalow, under a tree that sheds long stringy seed things all year round ...thank god for car covers Get loads of Scorpios around here, yet nobody else within miles of here is a member...the ONLY time I got flashed by a fellow Scorp was when I was in the Mondeo....still have no idea why he kept flashing me BTW, how's the cossie swap coming along Matt? Regards, Bruce

took a sneeky walk round the blue one, it's a 2.0 manual, cloth trim, rather basic model, body is in a terrible state, if its not dents and scratches, is the shattered front and rear bumpers, the 2 inch rust hole in the bootlid and just a general shappy ness , would be a good project car lol it's coming along, although very slowly, lost a lot of tools in a fire at a factory so it's getting them replaced including my compressor (we were doing a campervan overall for a mate, who owned the factory) every thing was a total loss still the paint is on order, im keepin the moon dust silver, put body has had to have a lot of prep work, but i'll be doing a better job them ford did as i'll not only be painting the interiour and exteriour, but also the bits ford forgot like the engine bay and boot inners!!! cant wait to get her back on the road, ive picked up a few bits to upgrade her a little so would be nice to have a car to fit them to lol

Matt, you're painting it yourself? What happened to the bespoke mica flecked pearlised paint idea? . Always wanted to get the kit and try a full respray but it's the space, fumes and not being able to bake it Oyster or roman bronze would look great on a facelift cossie IMO but it's your car You should take some photos of it in progress, would be great to show people once it's done . Regards, Bruce.
