Link here Smiley

Nice car but the rust Shocked

My car spent most of its life near the sea and I only had slight bubbles on the rear driver's side arch and a few bubbles on the door bottoms, nowhere near as bad as that. Although, the door edge is a common one, they rub like mine did.

Nice colour though, only other Scorp I saw in that colour was in a salvage yard in Thurrock (posted on here a while back), I do think some of the facelift colours look smart.

mine has spent it's whole life by the sea in margate, no rust so far, just lucky i guess. or having been owned for the 1st 3 years of it's  life by the md of my local fmd may have something to do with it.

I don't think the rust is that bad, just surface bubbling, at leats the seller was honest.

My 2lt.   has had rust in the exact same place  for the last two years  and it hasn't got any worse.

Damp must collect where the bumper meets the  wheel arch.

True Mr.Floppy, it didn't look as bad the second time I saw it. Somehow there's a water trap where the rear bumper meets the arches, wheel arch liner didn't fit quite tight enough on mine. And the doors rub on a lot of these, problem is you end up having to respray onto the outside skin of the doors too, not easy to get a good match Undecided

Do like that colour though, very dapper Wink Cheesy
