Hi Guys
I posted a short while ago that I broke down in the Ultima in France, I had taken out breakdown insurance
with Green flag, thinking I was covered.
Just had a letter from them, they have paid for the 3 nights accomadation £159, and £24.74 for collecting the starter motor, they are not paying for the repairs or collecting the car from the side of the road, they state being as they paid for the room, they are not paying the garage bill (emergencey labour) this is only paid when the car can be repaired at the road side and you can continue your journey.
I believe this is another insurance get out, the breakdown has cost me just short of £300. for a starter motor Fords quoted me £107.40 +vat
So watch out.

That doesn't surprise me at all! Its amazing how they will take your money without a worry but hate to pay out.
