i realy like the look of the corsair had one in the seventies, a red 2ltr if my memory serves me right. ex girlfriend smashed it into a wall. have you ever thought about trying to put a more modern lump in one? like a 24v, had a 75 escort van once with a 3ltr v6 capri engine fitted bog standard apart from braces to stop the body flexing, and the capri brakes. often thought of trying something like that again.

It is fully working and just needs an MOT to complete... no tax necessary of course!
 
As for sticking a different engine in?... I am not really to interested in doing that sort of stuff now. There is a member of the Corsair owners club who has fitted the 24v Cossie engine from a Granada. Now that shifts a bit!
