As most of you will probably know by now I've sold my scorp to Rob who (I am pleased to see) is putting what was my engine to very good use if the photo in parts for sale is anything to go by. Cheesy
Got to admit I feal like A family member has gone but, life goes on and I have been scouring various media for the scorps replacement.
I realy fancy a volvo s80 T6 se lux but a national search on auto trader shows nine, and none of them are near me.
God, am I sick of looking at cars Angry Angry Angry
But worse than that I have to use the wifes little french hatch back thing to go look at cars AAAARRRGGHH!!!!
Anyway I have spent five of the last eight weaks in spain soaking up plenty of sun and bear and as I said My scorp selling wounds are well on the way to being healed so its almost back to my grumpy old usual self then Grin Grin Grin

That Chrysler Crossfire 300  looks  good,    although  the  namby  pamby  scaredy cats  say it doesn't  do well   in  the crash tests.

Who gives a stuff,     the idea is not to crash it.   Kiss

Would an   E-Type  Jag   or  a  Morris Minor  do  really well  in   todays  impact     tests  ?

I thought the Crossfire was basically a Mercedes with different outer body panels Huh
Surely crash test performance would be very similar to the equivalent Merc Huh
But as you say, the idea is not to crash it.

I can remember back in the days when we had static seat belts - not inertia reel, toughened windscreens were standard, laminated an optional extra, no such thing as ABS, air bags or seat belt pre-tensioners, no side impact bars - I just don't know how we are all still here !
