I reckon it's about time there was an 'Other Cars' section on this site Looks in mint condition mate, how much did you pay ? I remember they were used/promoted in Jurassic Park at the same time as they went on sale to the public & they sold like hotcakes because of it.... ...You couldn't get better advertising really ....although one was mullered by a T-Rex. But then I don't suppose they were designed to be Dino-proof

its for my dad, and all it will do is tow a caravan and the odd trip to B&Q and the likes Quote:Well, each to their own I suppose. Looks like it was designed by the office cleaner. Yuk ! Grin |
| Many would say that about the scorpio, but like the scorpio it grows on you paid a bit over the market value but oh well, it was to good to let go at £1200

That was in the second movie....... In the first movie there were two Mavericks going around on a kind of track, demonstrating how the punters would travel around the park. Unfortunately one of them came a cropper when the T-Rex escaped & decided that the snotty kids inside would make a nice appetizer....so it mullered the Maverick trying to get to them.....remember now ? The second movie also had Ford Explorers in it I remember reading at the time that Ford had some kind of deal with the film makers....the new Ford 4X4s would be used in exchange for large amounts of cash
