have to say im dismayed at the increase in cost of veggie oil, it seems that making it legal to use has caused a price hike; i used to pay £10.50 for 20ltr tin, now the same grocer wants £13.95 for 15ltr tin!
sainsburys have been doing corn oil in 2ltr bottles for £1.05 which is good except everyone's been buying it and the shelf is normally empty......

I have noticed the price has gone up, but not by much (from £9.99 to £10.50 for a 20ltr drum). That price is for new Tiger Tiger stuff available from Hyperama. Not sure where you are but I know they have stores in Peterborough, Nottingham and somewhere near Birmingham and you don't need to be trade to sign up!

It was £1.67 for three liters at Asda then all of a sudden gone up to £1.98?
Bigger percentage increase than the real deal!
So now, Lidl's is getting my custom

Its ALWAYS been legal to use it as long as you kept a record/informed them you were doinbg it and paid the tax on it
Whats happened now is that you only have to register and if you are using under 2500 litres a year then you dont pay tax on it...I use 2499 litres a year

You're supposed to register with customs and excise that you are a user and keep records of how much you use but there is no tax to pay if you use under 2500 litres per year

The Scorpio diesel will run on 100% veg oil as long as its not too cold outside. i run mine with 25% diesel in the winter

 Its a case of finding out how many people are doing it, and as Baz says where you are then there will be a sudden change and the tax will be hiked up.
Its been said before but if something seams too good to be true then it usualy is.
So to coin another saying,
If you have a diesel then make hay while the sun is still shining
