Well known Tyre and Exhaust.....

.........retailer customer rant No. 12587. Needed new O/S front tyre. Wheel was removed, tyre refitted and wheel replaced sucessfully, no problems. I requested , if possible , that the N/S rear wheel be swapped with N/S front wheel to equalise tyre wear. Young and eager whippersnapper grease primate jacks up N/S front of car to maximum height, with the hope that the rear wheel will also clear the ground, no go, he tries again, no joy, yours truly watches with amazement as my pride and joy's chassis is in imminent danger of severe deformation. I pipes up " wouldn't it be easier with two trolley jacks, one at the front one at the rear ? " @ Uberdope teen fitter thinks for a second, grunts and fetches second jack. I'm seriously frightened to leave my car with them anymore. Where do they get them, and do they get any training ?

Reminds me of when I took my old Cortina to a dodgy fitters about 20 years ago to get a part worn tyre....the young guy (who was actually older than me at the time), just shoved the jack under the car & jacked it up...leaving a large bump in the front passenger footwell Got a brand new tyre out of it & the bump went almost flat after a bit of stamping

You,ve got me worried now.Im due for 2 new tyres tomorrow (after doing the track rod ends) .Im also having the tracking done at the same time, but the garage is staffed mainly by spotty little chavs. The phrase "here we go again" springs to mind.
