Granada Scorpio twin turbo 24v

Hi there, My father inlaw is always talking about a car he supposedly owned (He has been known to talk crap on occasions!). According to him it was a silver Greg granada scorpio 24v with a twin turbo conversion that he says was owned by the wife of the owner of turbo technics. Can anyone tell me wether this car existed or is it an attrocious porkie pie!! 
Oh and i forgot to mention he says he blew it up doing some rediculous speed and returned it to the finance company!

In the late 80,s / early 90,s Turbo technics were bolting turbos onto just about everything they could lay there hands on.I had one of there conversions done to a 2.8i capri & it was stupid fast.(used to put cossies & intragales to shame)  .So it may well of existed

I'm no stranger to turbo technics work having worked on quite a few of them (usually idle control valves for some strange reason?). I'm more interested in tracing this car
