Have a a b/w picture from 1962 wanted renovated
sent it to a place in Hoole,Chester. for quote.
Told for a copy on disc for future copys + renovation of
photo  £250.00 as i wanted this done i posted of the cheque, with it i asked for a particular part to be cropped into a photo.
had photo back today yes he done the particular part
i requested, but not renovated the whole photo.
spoke to the guy about it,as far as he concerned he did what charged for,yet the copy on the disc is what the photo was when i sent it to him,so how am i able to take copys of a pic that not been renovated.
totally annoyed with the outcome of this.
moan for the day..

drop me a PM. As Richard says Photoshop is an amazing tool for restoring photos. I also use a program called black magic which adds colours to old b/w photos. If you are about, I could scan a copy for you and restore what you have for nothing.... I enjoy doing old photos and have done loads for family members etc. My mates wife is of German descent and I even did one of her Great Uncle. The photo was of him in full SS uniform!!

Its NOT flintshire its CHESHIRE ... best tell them ..

And I will check 4 U to see if it is a private address or a business . but I think the address you gave me is only housing might be worth small claims court procedure.

well I have done a couple of pictures for REN and he seems very happy with them! I have promised to print a few variations for him and post them to him when I get back from Gibraltar (I am currently on the gatwick express!)

As for the feeble attempt at the renovation done by the chap who has charged so much....... It is truly appaling considering the amount charged. All of 10 minutes work I would say!!!

Baz..... En route to warmer climes!
