i get stuff similar to foliatec from my fishing tackle shop and use it for my spinners , it comes in various colours , gold, silver, blue, red. also embossed or plain. not sure if it,s what your after but its an option. it,s very thin and i cut it with small scissors, comes in various sizes right up to A4 sheets i think. i use milti purpose waterproof glue or i suppose super glue will do.

bright annealed stainless steel could be an option. it is used some times as mirrors. it will fade a little over time though . try some firms with 'sheet metals' in the name and ask for an off cut. 07mm thick if you can get it ! or polished stainless would be less hassle possibly as it can be re-polished. if you have great trouble pm me and I'll see about posting you something . it will be a while till I can help though.
