thanks traceys_limo. confession time, i sold this fab scorpio about 8 months ago to one of my work mates because i needed a car with more ground clearance and 4wd. i replaced it with a freelander and yes the head gasket has been replaced on it already. miss the scorpio for driving and most of all the boot space ( small boot space on freelanders ). before i sold her i had managed to finish off facelifting the front with a facelift bumper to match the lights and grill ( looked great in white ). couple of months after selling her my mates wife had a little bump in her and just managed to break the drivers headlamp, gill and bumper and nothing else. car went off for insurance repair and came back with pre-facelift light, grill and bumper  . all my haed work for nothing
