Just When I thought One Was Enough....

I now have two facelift silver 24v's on the drive.

The lovely Pete dropped it off for me the other day and it is now sat there waiting for me to do something with it!

An R reg (but built after my S reg!) it needs a few odds and ends. A new CAT being one thing.

88k on the clock and no rattle.... I have had a cost of £150 to swap the LPG system from S2.9COS to this one so may do that and get rid of the S reg....

who knows!! It is a bit difficult to move on the drive at the moment with two Scorpios, a Corsair and a Megane as well as a skip and another Corsair in the Garage!!

wife getting moany!!

The Corsair carries the Holy Blue Oval Badge and is therefore worthy of a place on his driveway, regardless of condition. Grin

The Megane however... NoNo

Expensively.

Amuses me somewhat to think that I'm wishing it was as good on fuel as the Scorpio..

Otherwise, yeah, it's fine. Lovin' it.

S2.9 would probably be cannibalised for all its goodies and whats left would be sold for bits on EBay!

The reg would probably go on the S600 merc I am looking for!!

The seats would come out because they are electric (back and front) with side airbags and they also have the built in screens from the Galaxy etc. I will have to see what happens but the guy doing the LPG swap has only given me the cost to rip off the inlet manifolds from S29 and not to rebuild it all afterwards!

No not really Dave. Its been a bit neglected recently though. It has a cracked windscreen and numerous scuffs and scratches along both sides. It needs an appointment with a hoover as well!!

Just been too busy to sort it out recently thats all. Plus the mileage is now approaching 120k so things are starting to need sorting
