THIRSTY ! Yeah just fit it with a refueling probe like a jet so you can top the tank up from the tanker you would have following you!!

I'd love something mechanically like that, but the people who build 'em tend to always utterly ruin them with power bulges, metalflake, two tone paintjobs. This one's a perfect example. Why can't the people who build stuff like that leave them in subtle colours? That'd be a brilliant Q-car, but I'd hate to drive anything that looks as awful as that one does. Dark grey, cossie alloys, looking completely standard but immaculate. That's the way to go with that.

the funniest car i ever owned was a '78 chevy monte carlo, it was meant to be a 3.8 v6, however, some ingenious mechanically minded person had 'shoe horned' a 1971 v8 buick 6.6 litre (if my memory serves me correctly) into it. on the way home from picking it up i was at a roundabout, saw a gap, foot down (forgetting the car i was in), ended up spinning 180 degrees. it would wheel spin at around 50 when the box changed gear, punch the pedal and the chassis would creak as the front lifted, in fact it lifted enough to block some of your view. fuel consumption, well, average was 10mpg, turn air con on 8-9mpg, put your foot down 5mpg.....

oooooh i remember driving an early 70's impala in jamaica, lots of cabbies had them, i gave this cabbie a few u.s. dollars and he gave me the keys for a few miles, it had a major problem, the chassis was bent causing it to 'crab', the cabbie didnt mind though. the 2 vehicles i've owned and miss the most and would love to have them now; a ducati 900ss i had 6 or 7 years ago, gorgeous bike, not as quick as my other bikes but it had class, the small gold itallic writing on the tank said it all....'made in italy'. the other i owned in the late 80's was a chevy caprice classic 2 door coupe, immaculate '77 model, i think the only one in the country, it was only a 4.1 straight 6 but a reliable gorgeous car, i even managed to find an original sales brochure for it on ebay a couple of months ago...
