Words of comfort....

04.45.  I woke up this morning and as allways, looked out of the bedroom window, there was a loud thud and shockwaves circulated my body giving me an overwhelming sensation of dispare.  Undecided There was a space where I knew there shouldn't be a space.... it was really an unusual feeling as the realisation wended it's way into the depths of my semi contious state of mind....
It was fast becomming more obvious that there had been a visitor to our normally tranquil neighbourhood, Oh how this is going to change things in the future days and weeks,I thought, there will be mourning and a deep sense of loss as the friendly neighbours try to find consolation deep enough to smooth over the sadness of the new found space.... Huh
But wait...  isn't it that the space has just been moved? It has been reoccupied and the original space has moved to another area.... It has been occupied by a great vision like manifestation, it has a symbol attatched giving clue to its identity....  Roll Eyes I can just make out through the bleary, sleepy early morning mist...  Undecided It is a circle, it is segmented into quarters, Yes.... I can just make out the three letters that have gradually come into focus.... B.... M..... W YES! it is the BMW, it has finally arrived home... Cheesy
The SCORPIO HAS GONE.....  Cry but wait again.... this really is a sad occasion,  Huh unless, Yes... It has gone to live with GOZZ down in the countryside nearly darn sarf.....  Cheesy Yeh, I'm sure he and his wife will be looking out for its wellbeing,  Cheesy they will lavish love and affection as they polish it up and bring it back into the world of the LIVING SCORP....  Grin They will enjoy it and allow it to move about in the beutifull surroundings of the area.  Wink  The kindness which eminated from the two of them at our brief meeting ensured me of that.....  Cheesy I feel the emotions of the sudden realisations of the morning recede now and I feel as if I can fully wake to the days tasks,  Roll Eyes I take another glance down to the roof of the Beemer and to the pretty badge, and I think,.,. We're on the way..... SUDDENLY... I relise, All this musing has made me lose the sense of it... I realise,  Shocked Oh! if I don't get a move on soon, those cleaners, with thier turbans and pinneys on will be stood standing,  Angry tapping thier feet and preparing to give me the verbals  Angry Angry as they anxiousley await my arrival at the place where we like to be the most in our lives Where the dear little children come to practice the art of leaving footprints and litter, peeing on floors and spreading the toilet paper in all directions, flicking paper pellets and sweet wrappers at unsuspecting classroom assistants, where they learn the art of just being a pest.... BLESS EM.

Right... I'm off..... Cheers GOZZ and enjoy it.... Wink

Blimey, look what I've done to the poor old sod,he looks outside in the night,he thinks the neighbours are friendly,he even blesses the dear little children and is congenial to turban bearers  Sad Cry.I reckon Highlander has inside information, because there was a big white van with white coats inside, hiding round the corner from his house Roll Eyes.Perhaps he could fit a Scorp driving seat into his new machine to lessen the trauma,as bizzay says that could be the cure Undecided

Hi Stuart, I'm gettin over the initial shock now, it was a good job I had a busy day yesterday, (took my mind off things) Cheesy
Wrong! the BMW sold itself to me, I only looked.... Roll Eyes
Pre Scorp, I was told by many people....  Huh don't get rid of your Granada, (similar things were said before I got the Granny) You'll regret it, they told me, it (the Scorp) was one of the most unpopular car walking, (at first, owning one made me do a lot of this) it was refered to as "Frog eyed" (I never did agree) I didn't listen to them, I paid loads of money for the first one and never stopped spending right through the second (Goss's) one.  Cry
I was chasing a dream which, unless I could continue with, it would never be fulfilled as you can't buy a newer Scorpio anymore.   Cry I had the idea of spending maybe what I've spent on the beemer, on the Scorpio in new parts and really rebuilding her,  Shocked but health space and facilities wouldn't allow that and I wouldn't have trusted anyone else to do it as I would have liked. You know, new engine, running gear full body refurb etc etc, no holes barred.  Wink I had the idea I would have the best Scorpio available....  Cool The more new parts I included the better...  Smiley Oh well, there ends the dream....  Huh Now I aint bothered, beemers don't hold the same fizzz... Undecided

Hope you keep em goin though, I understand you have quite a collection, oh for a bit of land.... Huh Wink
