Well guys, having just bought a Rover 623 Gsi, thought I'd join a  Rover forum. However, having nodded off trying to read through an interminable list of rules, I've made my first posting the last and resigned again.
Oh dear, that will have made me popular. I suppose it was a bit optimistic expecting them all to be as good as this one.
Anyone know anything about Rovers? Grin

Hey Gozz I had one of them, (1946 Rover fourteen,)  was my first car bought for me for my 21st B/day by my late father for the princely sum of 10 quid in 1967.   Cool

Had some fun in it I can tell ya, even lost something on the back seat under the railway arches down by the canal, which I won't go into to much detail about. (Oops, maybe I already have  ROFL  )

I'm a good lad really.  Grin

Hi Lesterlad, hope you find what you lost soon my friend.... Free wheel device... Hmmm brings to mind my Wartburg... that was a 3 cylinder 2 stroke engine and the free wheel was one of the things that made it such fun to drive... You could get the speed up and free wheel for miles, just like stopping pedaling on a bike, engine on tick over and saving fuel.... Yeh real good system.

Rover.....  Sad Roll Eyes
