NO problems reported. It could well be down to your ISP NOT reloading the DNS profiles after some work .. I take it works OK now !

If not it has to be an ISP/Computer problem
Your are with BT and I would suspect a problem their end . It definitely was NOT the forum / Web site. There were problems in the Benfield area yesterday according to BT

Yes, I had a problem at about 1am Friday morning. Couldn't get onto the site with either IE or Firefox, just kept saying the address could not be found  Huh

Not sure how long it lasted as I went to bed (early night  Wink), but it was fine again the next morning  Smiley

It seemed to go down again about 1/2 hour ago for about 20 mins. Again couldn't get onto the site using IE or Firefox. Just said address did not exist... No problems with getting onto any other sites though  Huh

P.S....I'm not with BT like Rich1, I'm with TalkTalk  Smiley

Been having more problems lately getting onto this site......& it is only this site  Huh.....Every other site in my favs is coming up as it should, but for some reason, on occasion this site address is not found even if you type it in manually or google it & click the link  Huh

Been having trouble most days, but yesterday, tried for nearly 3 hours & this site didn't exist according to IE7 & Firefox. Then all of a sudden it's back again  Huh

Obviously no-one else has had these problems apart from Rich1, but we're with different ISPs, which makes this problem even more confusing  Undecided

I'm pretty sure it's not an ISP problem or firewall problem & the connection is fine.

Anyone have any answers ?  Smiley

Nope, same here - tells me the scorpio domain does not exist, but it usually
re-appears a few minutes (or sometimes hours) later

You have to understand that ISP's DO have problems themselves. More often that not with the DNS side of the servers. I can assure you that the site WAS online all day yesterday. SO the problems have to be with your ISP, or their equipment in the exchange where you live.

I had a very similar problem only a couple of weeks ago and it was my isp having problems.

It usually gets fixed very quickly by the ISPs but can sometimes take a few hours .
Check their fault records sometime and see , it could also be an exchange issue.

I will pass your comments on to Steve.

Thanks for the reply Dave, I still don't quite understand how it can be a problem with my ISP as I don't have any connection problems & this site is the only site I have problems with  Smiley

You mentioned DNS, so I did a bit of digging & found that it may be a DNS error. So I flushed the 'DNS resolver cache' then re-booted the computer.

Not sure if it's done the trick or not yet, so fingers crossed  Wink...... Smiley

Same for me, although the downtime was much longer. And I'm using a Finnish operator.
