has anyone got one of those pure highway radios , they are supposed to plug into your exsisting car stereo but are they adaptable to the stereo you get as standard in a scorpio , or do you need a more modern stereo . and are they any good??

Just had quick look via Google, it appears to convert to an FM channel which your car radio picks up via the aerial - so no direct connection.

I have one of these fm transmitters and they work brilliantly, I think I paid about £15 for mine. You plug your mp3 player into it and it transmitts the music to your incar system, you do have to tune it to a frequency and store it on a button though. Well Worth The Money IMO. hth Pete

the pure highway isnt exactly an fm transmitter its a digital radio receiver that costs about 50-60 quid. fm transmitters are generally very good, i used to have an ipod specific one a couple of years back until it got stolen when my scorp was broken into. i now have one built into my mobile phone which is very handy. yeah havent been about for a while Simmo, been pretty busy over xmas etc, nothing much happening though i do sport a new tattoo......
