So I thought I may as well make a topic to say Hi & introduce myself & car to everyone.
I'm Dan, live in Crewe & am a confirmed petrolhead (well, I reckon. I've certainly owned some interesting motors from BMW 325/730/735iSE's to an Allegro & recently a Subaru Sumo 3cyl van!!!).
My latest car is obviously a Scorpio hence my presence on here, more specifically it's a 1995 Ultima Estate, manual box & the 2.0 16v lump fitted. Bit on the small side for lugging a car that size round I thought but having test driven the thing I'm quite impressed (still be happier with even a 12v 6 though!). However, I still don't think it's a bad swap for a cream-crackered L reg van with a holey sump & no T/T.
She's just out of MoT (got through a mate who's a breaker) and had a fail cert. listing only high emissions as it's failure. Now I've had a root under the bonnet & plugged the Lambda back in (!!!!!!!  ) and temporarily taped up the fuel injection loom I'm sure she'll fly through.
More or less everything works at the moment including climate control, although I'm going to have a few questions in the relevant section about the non-working sunroof & wierd fuel gauge behaviour no doubt. The only other problems I have found so far is a missing CD changer carriage, black-spotted mirror & the fact that she could do with a set of decent boots (although said mate will be getting these as part of the deal).
Oh, and the front bumper's pretty ugly too but I'll have to make up my mind whether to glass it up or replace when one turns up.
Anyhow I'll stop rambling about me new toy (for now at least), suffice to say I'll try and get a few pics of her up soon as I find the d**n camera!  EDIT-: oops, sorry. Didn't know that was a sweary word!

One day he was there and next thing is he is a guest.. Might have deleted himself by mistake but there has NOT been any request from him to re-join. I MOST certainly did NOT delete him.
Talking about deleting people.....which there are one or two who seem to be taking the micheal a little ! I will just sit and watch for a bit.
